Currently there is renewed focus on air quality in Lambeth. The Lambeth Air Quality Report 2015 has been published and there is an air quality consultation underway on the draft Air Quality Action Plan 2017-2022. Lambeth has also partnered with 11 other London boroughs to tackle vehicle idling.

There will be action days where volunteers will go to selected air quality hot spots and talk to drivers and pedestrians alike about unnecessary engine idling and its impact on air quality.
