Lambeth Black Workers Group:
Our priorities for 2018/2019.
- Recruiting young black members in Lambeth
- Knowing and addressing the equalities in Lambeth
- Progression of black members in all departments.
- And encouraging black members to go to the Conference next year 2019 in Wales.
What is happening in children’s social care? The equalities group met in early January 2018 and looked at some of the issues raised in the social care health survey (December 2017 ) which highlighted the inequalities and unhappiness of Black staff in social care. Social care staff are more than welcome to attend the equalities working group, make their voice heard and be part of solution in bringing about race equality and fairness in YOUR department.
